I honestly don’t even know where to start about how much this coaching has changed the way I look at food, exercise, and myself as a whole. Before starting my coaching sessions, I equated food to calories and thought of exercise as a way to burn off the calories I ate, and as a result hated it. Now, three months after having started my health coaching I see a completely different person both mentally and physically. You have taught me that food is NOT the enemy, but rather necessary fuel for my body and also that exercise comes in other forms than cardio and can look different each day :) When I look in the mirror now, I see a person that I am proud to be rather than one I hate. Yes, I have seen physical changes but the mental changes are the ones most significant and that I am most proud of. Heather is by far the best health coach I have ever worked with. Her depth of knowledge about food and how it works with the body is beyond impressive. She is the only person I have ever worked with that actually got me results and I have tried everything and everyone! Not only does she talk you through the healthiest options from a nutrition perspective, but also helps you understand the science behind it. I am sure that I could not have been her easiest client since I was very limited on what types of food I would eat being a pescatarian and a wine lover, but her feedback was essential in helping me to reach my best health in years! Nutritious Habits has helped me immensely in my health journey. Historically, I have had a hard time finding a great balance when it came to movement, nutrition, and self-care. I’d excel in one of the three, but not all three at the same time. This led to fatigue of the process. Working with Heather has given me new energy, a new perspective, helped me change the way I feel, helped me talk to myself more positively and shown me the path of “getting better each day” vs. “perfection each day.” I am so grateful for the incredible steps forward that I’ve had so far on my journey and I finally believe that I can do this.
